Naberius I

Areas 1-2 Layout

Areas 1-2 Pathing (Solo)

Probably the easiest one in terms of difficulty.

And, for that same reason, also the one most people choose to do on Super Hard.

Starting out, you are faced with a hill, plus two small valleys to your left and right, and a purple barrier north. In order to lower the barrier, climb the hill and press one of the switches. The valley closest to you will open, so go in it, press the switch inside, then repeat the process for the other side. With both switches in the valleys pressed, the barrier to the North will drop.

Next, you are faced with 4 telepipes covered by separate enemy-triggered barriers. Your primary targets here are all the monkeys, the Oodans and Za Oodans. There are also Gulfs (wolf-like things) and birds, whatever they're called. Each group of these killed will open one of the barriers. By killing the smaller monkeys, you open the far west side barrier, and the same goes for the bigger monkeys and the far east side

If you're with a group of 3 or 4, you can choose to kill the wolves and birds to make the next part go by faster, but its not necessary. If you're with a group of 2 or less, no point.

Going through the telepipe, you arrive in a corner, facing whatever enemy telepipe you just went through. If you just killed the wolves and went through the telepipe they opened up, you'll now face 3 groups of wolves. Same for the rest. Kill all the enemies here. If your group buddies aren't done, keep going around the corner until its all done. You'll know it is once the telepipes on top of the hills are opened up.

Now proceed through, but stop after getting through. You'll be greeted by a rockface. Destroy it, but DO NOT continue. Instead, turn around, and go through the same telepipe you just arrived through. You'll now be where you were before, facing the same 4 telepipes as earlier. Now, go through the left or right telepipe, the ones that opened after you killed the monkeys. Instead of going to same corner as before, you'll be in a different area. In front of you, you'll see a patch of grass. Using either your fists or [preferably] a melee weapon, cut down all the grass patches. Cut it all down, or you won't see the switch at all. Once you do see it, press it, and go through the telepipe. Repeat this process for the other side.

Doing this on both sides opens two barriers, which you'll see shortly. Once they're both pressed, head straight north. Avoid traps and enemies, while only attacking the other rockfaces. Pass the enemy red barrier on either side to spawn a Rockbear. If you didn't press those switches just now, you will not be able to get to this point. Kill rockbear quickly, and move on.

Welcome to the tundra area. This part is the trickiest, and is best done differently depending on how many people are in your group. This will be described upon later on. This is because there are 3 different ways to go. For ease, I will describe them all separately.

NORTH: This person stays and presses all the switches. You stay in that same area, kill the 2 snow monkeys the spawn, the two elephants that spawn, and the 6 rappies after that. Press the switches if your party members need it. Once you kill all the enemies, go north from where you are. 4 snow wolves plus a giant worm will spawn. Kill them all, and press the switch to the right, in the small cave. After pressing that, go east, use the jump pad, go north, and wait by the next crevice.

EAST: Orange, Green and Purple switches open the path for this person. This person skips all enemies and goes to the very end of the path. In the very far back corner, there is a switch behind some containers. Press it, and then kill only the 4 small monkeys that spawn. You don't need to kill the bigger one. After you kill those, and if the person going North Route has cleared the first area, then a telepipe will appear on top of a hill near you. Go through it, and you'll move to a new area. There, kill the two elephants and the worm. Press the switch that opens up after, then proceed east a short walk and wait by the crevice.

WEST: Blue and Yellow switches affect this person. Going east, you'll immediately see 2 wolves spawn. Kill them, and the two that spawn after them, and do it quick. To the SOUTH of where you're at here, there is a small cave with a snow bank it. Destroy it, and reveal the switch. Press it, and hurry west. If you don't hurry, the blue barrier will respawn. Continuing, kill the 4 wolves in that area, which will open a telepipe if the person going north has cleared the first area. DO NOT ENTER IT YET. Instead, to the far corner, NORTH of the telepipe. There, destroy another snow bank, press another revealed switch, THEN go through. Spawning north of where you were before, you'll see 2 monkeys spawn. Kill them, plus the next 2, plus the worm. Press the switch that opens up, and then go east across the crevice. From there, go north to the other crevice.

ONLY WITH ALL THE SWITCHES PRESSED DOES THE JUMP PAD OPEN. If even one was missed, the pad will not open, which would mean someone has to go back and find which one was missed. Everyone will converge on the same area, and proceed.

With the jump pad open, hop across. Ignore the enemies here, and head up the hill. Jump across again, proceed north, continuing to ignore the enemies. Jump again, keep going north, and in the back right corner you'll see a telepipe. Go thorugh it, and you'll now be in front of the next area. Proceed, and you'll see the Snow Banther. Kill it, and you're done. His minions are just there to annoy you.

Now, the Tundra area's ease changes depending on how many people are with you. I will now go over that.

SOLO: First go East, press the switch, and jump all the way back using the pads. Clear the North route next, but then go back for the West area, including the area after the telepipe. Once you clear it, go north and east to kill the elephants and worm that are normally done by the person who went east. Remember to press all the switches!

DUAL: With two people, one can go East or West, though time-wise the better suggestion is West, as its longer. The other goes North then East, since they are relatively shorter. Proceed as normal.

TRIO and QUATRO: Self-explanatory. One person North, one East, and one West. With 4 people, 2 people will go North instead.
