Non Employed Embattlement Team
Basics
Welcome to the first page of the guides! Here is where I'll explain a couple basic things that everyone seems to have questions about, or things we've notices people aren't doing either at all or correctly.
First, however, allow me to give you the most helpful and relevant website to this game: Cirnopedia, or Cirno:

Weapons
All weapons can be grinded. This raises its stats up to 10 times, primarily it's damage. There was an in game tutorial (a Client Order from Jean) about this, and please do not forget it. Going to the Item Lab Attendant at the Shop Area allows you to use Grinders and mesata to grind a weapon. If you plan on using the weapon for a while, grind it up, it can raise its damage up to 170%.
Simply, more grinding = More damage
Weapons also have Potentials, and can be grinded further via Attribute Grinding and Ability adding. However, these won't be needed until must later. For the list of weapons available, visit the link below(Note: The missing weapons are the Invade and Austere weapons).

Armors/Units
Wear them. You can buy most early level ones at the Visiphone. You can also turn off their visuals on your character by simply selecting the "Hide" option in the equip screen.
Set bonuses come with some sets of armor, e.g Vol Wings/Claws/Tail. These come as offensive bonuses for equipping a full set.

Mags
If you haven't equipped one, or don't know what one is, ask a manager, or anyone in the team. A Mag is a little flying companion that goes with you, and aids you in battle with whatever it has for triggers.
Every level an equipped Mag has, gives you one point in that stat. One point in Strike Attack means +1 Strike Attack for you. The max level is 200 right now, which means the max it can boost you is +200 of whatever stat.
A Mag will evolve at level 30 and once again at 100, try to level up the correct stat by feeding the correct item.
After its first evolution, you will now have the option on your subpalette for a Photon Burst. Simply, when you've taken or done enough damage in the field do redy this, the Mag will transform for a short time and attack your selected enemy, or support you and your allies. This is all dependant on how you build your mag stats.
Upon reaching Level 200, your Mag will gain a new Ability called SP Actions. There are 4 different SP Actions a Mag can have and the initial one will be based off your highest Stat however, can be changed.
Here's a list of what the SP Actions are:
S-Atk SP / Clobber
R-Atk SP / Vulcan
T-Atk SP / Focus
DEX SP / Unbreakable
Unsure what they do? The Internet is your friend.
Please view Cirno for more info on Mags, proper feeding, and what each Burst is based on stat-wise.
Visiphone (Player Shop)
The Visiphone (the purple console found in various places) is where you will be purchasing most things, such as high level weapons, units, Photon Arts, Costumes and/or materials.
Going to the Visiphone, selecting Player Shops, then Item Search will show you to an Item Search window.
There are two ways to search:
1. Using the tweakers item translations, you can search an english term and hit P.Search, then the item you may be searching for will show with a japanese name alongside the tweakers translation. After selecting, erase the translation and hit 'Search by Price' at the bottom of the window.
2. Using Cirnopedia to find an item you wish to purchase. Simply copy and pasting the items full japanese name works in the Item search.
The Visiphone is also where you can search for other players on the server, register your Friend Parter (so others can use an NPC copy of your character), view Rankings and input Item Redemption codes.
Areas
Areas and maps do not unlock through your levels. They unlock through Koffie Client Orders and completing various ARKS quests. Many quests unlock alongside area unlocks, so please do them. Here's a list of Koffie's requests for you to clear so you can unlock areas!
Koffie Orders <click here>
For starting areas, after the first ARKS quest for that area is completed, a Koffie quest will unlock. This will tell you to continue the ARKS quests in the area. After aforementioned ARKS quests and Koffie quest, the Exploration quest will unlock, also from Koffie, along with another Koffie quest to complete said Exploration. After completion of these two, a new area will unlock upon the next visit to the quest counter.
