Skill Tree

For those of you who don't know, as you progress in the game and level up, you will gain SP(Skill Points) towards the class you have selected. This is when you visit Bea in the Gate Area, you will be given the option to assign these Points into which skill you think is best suited towards your playstyle. Add Points into whichever skill you wish and become stronger!

There are different builds for different classes (duh) and there are many suggestions online for you to look up that will help you get to where you want. Below, is what is a link to a Skill Simulator. This magical tool is useful for you to get an overview on how many points you should assign to which skill. Be warned though, once you assign a point, you cannot redo unless you have an All Skill Tree Reset Pass. This can be done through either paying AC or through Campaign Rewards.

Weapons and Unit Affixing

If you take a trip over to Dudu/Monica at the Equpment Lab, you'll notice an option called "Add Special Ability".

Now wtf is that?! How special?! SUPER SPECIAL?! It is your gateway and challenge towards making your gear stronger and betterer(It's a word, shut up).

With the "Add Special Ability" function, you will be able to add various Abilities to your Weapons or Units in order to make them more useful to you in battle. For the different kinds of Special Abilities, visit the link below for more insight on the incredible things that can make you more awesomer(Shut up, that's a word too okay?).

Now, now. You may all be thinking, "Wow! Those are some great Special Abilities! I want them on my gear too!"

However, things aren't so simple in the PSO2 world. Things like Ability Success Rate, Stat Boosters and Slot Adding will determine what and how those Abilities will be implanted on your gear.

Now you all may be thinking, "OMG! WHAT THE HECK IS ALL THAT?!" Well let me link you to this special page where you can learn all about it!

Great, now that you've got a grasp of what these amazing things are, give it a go yourself! You can either farm for these Special Abilities or, you can buy them from the Player Shop via Visphone. Be warned though, this can be a long and expensive process depending on what Special Ability you want and how many slots you wish to have. In order for you to save time and money on this, here's what is called an Affix Simulator(No, not Afin Simulator, but I wonder what that would be like...)

Use this to test out what affixes you want and it's Success Rates.

Extra Note: It has been noted that by using the same weapon as the one you are affixing abilities to, it will increase the chances of Success.

Alright! Once you have grasped the idea of how to Affix Special Abilities, try it out yourself and hopefully you'll make your gear Super Awesome, and SUPER SPECIAL!

Grinding Attribute

Alright, now that you've got all that stuff noted down, how about we learn about Grinding Attribute? What? What's grinding attribute you say?! Then let me tell you, unknowing one, what this thing is all about! Grinding Attribute is the thing that could make you stronger! Grinding Attribute is when you increase the Element of your weapon. Increasing the Element on your weapon will allow you to deal extra damage to your enemies. HOWEVER! This will only apply if your weapon's Element matches the Elemental Weakness of the enemies. If you manage to hit an enemy matching your Element, then you will deal more damage to them. Note that the extra damage you will deal is dependant on how much your Element is. For example, attacking an enemy that isn't weak to your Element, you will deal 100% of your damage output. BUT! If you manage to strike an enemy which matches your Element of say, 38. That 38 will count as 38% of your weapon's attack added onto your current attack! So it goes without saying that the higher your element is, the more damage you will deal to an enemy matching your Element!
